Sometimes I wonder how old my mom is, psychologically. For the uninformed, she’s 66. But she seems to enjoy the entertainment provided to 16 yr-olds.
Last summer, she was all about American Idol, The Simple Life, and the OC. Even I wasn’t watching The OC, but she was enthralled.
So, last night was the season premiere of The Simple Life: Interns, so i figured she’d watch it. But I was mistaken…
I get home and ask, “Mommy, did you watch The Simple Life tonight?”
And she said one of the worst things I’ve ever heard:
“Nah, I didn’t care too much to watch it. I can’t stand that Richie girl…She looks like her panties stink!”
Yeah.
Wow.
That’s wrong on so many levels.
Wow…
Your mother is right. 6 years later and I still can’t stand her. She was such an ass on the Simple Life.
